Little Funky Lads Called Stickmen
About 6 years ago I made a little guy called Computer Stickman, a stickman that wore headphones. Since then I ran with the concept of a stickman, just developing Compman for a while and not doing much in terms of a sickman "species". In 2016, I made a whole new cast of stickman characters to go alongside Compman in the story Defective by Creation, though now Compman is more of a side-character. Since then I've made an expansive world with a whole complex species, and here's the place explaining that species!Basically these are just thicker stickmen with 4 different race variations.
There are four races of stickmen, in order of the image above:
Jenians - The basic and most common race.
Cydonians - Second most common race, the only race that has genitalia and can have children through the means of birth.
Alettians - The third most common race, they have wings and most have the ability to fly.
Orendians - Rarest race by far, they have incredible magical abilities and differ most from the other races.

Anatomy
-
First thing to know about stickmen, is that they are NOT human!!
Think about stickmen as more humanoid in their bodies and not their heads. Though their bodies are a lot thinner than a human's. Their heads are circular, and don't have ears or a nose. They can still hear and smell! Their necks are proportionally small as well, though there is no definite size.
Going down the body, their chests are usually proportionately large with no dependance on gender. This is because of their spirit, a vital part of any stickman. They are directly connected to a stickman's magical ability, emotions, memories, and their life. The size and expance of a stickman's spirit varies between races, and chest size varies from person to person, based on the size of the spirit.
This is an example of a Jenian spirit. All spirits have a protective layer, and if this layer is broken, the spirit will escape and the stickman will die. Some spirits are smaller in other races, and in Orendians spirits take up the whole body.
More on anatomy coming... sometime, not important right now really.
Customization!
Aside from a stickman's race, they have many things that make them unique!
First thing is a stickman's colors. There are certain rules and conventions to follow with a stickman's colors.
There are three main variations in coloring patterns.
The Head-Body Model:
This is the basic and most general color scheme of stickmen, as well as the most "stickman-y". The pattern is usually a light colored head, a shade of white, and a dark colored body, some shade of dark grey or black. This doesn't necessarily need to be followed, as a stickman can have a dark head as well, but the head is always visibly lighter than the body. You don't see stickmen with a white body and black head, though it is possible.
The Full-Body Model:
A very basic and common color pattern as well. Not too much to say about it, the whole body is just one flat color. One small marking or a part that's a slightly different color like a birthmark can apply to this pattern as well as the head-body pattern.
Unconventional Model:
In rare cases, some stickmen are created with unconventional patterns of color on their bodies. This goes beyond just a blemish or birthmark, usually multiple spots of the body or face are colored differently. This is referred to as color dysmorphia. Usually these are just contained and not too wild, like just on the arms and legs, just on the hands and feet, or just on the upper half of the body and face. In very rare cases the whole body is colored with markings. In the example above, the lighter part starts at the spirit, and gets darker as it goes further away from the chest. As you can see, it's based off of the head-body pattern. The markings aren't random.
In terms of picking colors, mainly anything goes, while sticking to the color patterns above. However, stickmen do not have bright colors on their bodies, sticking to duller colors. This only applies to the body, aka the skin.
Second are the eyes. A stickman's eye shape and color are a defining part of themselves.
Every stickman has a unique set of eyes (or eye). There are no limits to their eye shapes and no guidelines. The above are examples to go off of!For the pupils, the only restriction is that they are some kind of circular or ovular. A stickman's eyes are almost literally a window to the spirit, so their eye color will be the color of their spirit. However, inner pupils may only be complex shapes (not circular or ovular) if a stickman has a modified and or very powerful spirit. The triangular pupil of the bottom row, middle eye is an example of this.
Third are the hands! Stickmen have a set of different hand shapes.
Different races have different ratios of how common each hand type is, but these are all the possible hand types. It's pretty obvious what hands are which and the variations above, so no need to go through all of them. There are two I'd like to highlight though.
Hoof Hands:
These hands are flat and have no fingers, like hooves. Technically, these are a variation of Orendian hands, that are just rounded stubs. Without having fingers, it's pretty much impossible to pick up things alone. That's why stickmen with these kind of hands have a bit more powerful spirit magic, directed at their hands that let them pick up objects. It's not really telekinesis, since a stickman with this power can't move things from more than half a foot away from their hands. Their grip is about as strong as regular hands. Only Jenians can have this type of hand.
Mitten Hands:
These types of hands technically don't have separate fingers, if you don't count the thumb. The "mitten" part of the hand can stretch and contract like if you were to spread out the fingers on your hand. Each side can partially bend separate from one another, but not too drastically to say, fully point. They contain two bone structures on the sides with tough muscle and cartilage in the center to remain slightly flexible yet rigid.
"Hoof" hands and "2-Fingered" hands are rare and not commonly seen.
Stickmen do not have toes
